OMCAP CAPSULE contains Omeprazole, a widely used and clinically proven proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by irreversibly blocking the hydrogen-potassium ATPase enzyme system of the gastric parietal cells. This results in a significant reduction of stomach acid production, thereby providing relief from acid-related conditions and promoting ulcer healing.

OMCAP CAPSULE is used in the treatment of various gastrointestinal conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It also plays a crucial role in Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy when used in combination with antibiotics.
